一鉢千家飯 Ippatsu Senke no Han
This is a saying associated with the alms-round practice of monks. It signifies that the rice in a monk’s alms bowl is made up of small portions of rice generously donated by as many as a thousand households. It is a Zen saying that teaches us to have a ‘heart of gratitude’, recognising that we are alive thanks to the support and kindness of many people.

青山元不動白雲自去来 Seizan Moto Fudou Hakuun Onozukara Kyoraisu
The lush, towering mountains stand there solid and immovable. In contrast, the white clouds drift freely across the sky. This symbolises an ideal state of mind that combines the unshakeable conviction of a mountain with the flexible spirit of a cloud, capable of changing shape and flowing freely.

歩々是道場 Hoho Kore Dojo
It means that everyday life itself is a place of training, and every step you take is a dojo. The idea that the dojo is not just a temple or a specific place, but a place where you can improve yourself anywhere and in any situation, depending on your mindset.
